Since 1994, South Africa has been rapidly reintegrated into the global economy, with the contribution of imports and exports rising strongly. The economy has become more open, more productive and more outward orientated. Although there are a number of factors that contribute to successful exports, trade policy plays an important role. For this reason we are hosting the above-mentioned SA Trade & Export Policy Conference, to focus on the main aspects surrounding this, with key-speeches/presentations being delivered by major role-players in the field.
